Customers want PayPal..

I have a good eBay account pre07 and I use authorize.net for all my processing.

A good amount of my customers will only pay with PayPal and they shut my account down 2 years ago because I had too many refunds around Christmas time and I was "high risk".

I was thinking about opening a Payflow account and just integrating my existing merchant into that, so customers will still see PayPal and feel safe.

Is this a bad idea? I was thinking to change all my registration names/emails so that they cant see my old stuff (unless they real dug deep). I don't think I even need an existing regular PayPal account to use Payflow.

What do you guys recommend? Just stick with authorize or take a risk and use Payflow?

Customers just don't feel comfortable using anything else. Its becoming a nuisance.

Thanks

Which is why I have never bothered to with a pre 2007 account.

The loss of business is just too much. EVERYONE wants paypal.

To me it's even worth waiting 180 days for funds to make a sale(assuming you will eventually at some time get limited).

I agree. Everyone wants paypal or they will not purchase from you.

What do you recommend I do? Take a risk and try to open Payflow? Will they find my old account and close me? Or what? It would be really nice to not have this problem.

People don't know what they want. They just do as they see

Paypal is drilled into peoples head.

And pp of course has trained them that pp is the safest way to pay.

We all know it is not. They are just an info collection firm who happens to be forced on many people.

Right on Slim and Sandy. They really have done a superb job at brainwashing the public. And of course eb has made it next to impossible to use anything else without alot of hassles.

I actually had a lady buy something and ask if she could send a money order.

I told her as long as it was a USPS postal order you are fine with me.

She has been a constant repeat customer and pays on time every time.

She told me she wont use pp and if the seller dont take a money order they dont get her business.

Good for her! And for me.
