PayPal withdrawal completed and days later reversed for technical problems?
 

Here we go..

On Friday I received a payment on my FULLY verified PayPal account, by FULLY Verified I mean SS#, Bank, CC, PayPal Here, PayPal Business Debit (Newly Applied).

Withdrew funds on Monday Afternoon, 90% withdrawal minus 10%, which I kept on account balance. The funds were pending for 24hrs., on Tuedays the next day they completed. After waiting on my Greendot, the funds were never received and today Thursday the funds are reversed. Notice: " Your funds were reversed due to technical problems".

Whats going to happen in the near hours? will my account be limited? (doubtful) or is the GreenDot not account flagging sonething? The name matches the account's on file with GreenDot.

I have several ways to withdraw; including CCNOW, I won't receive my PP debit card for another week. Thus, that leaves me one method, should I go with this or should give it another try?

Also!* Researched and others are having problems and have intended to attempt another withdrawal and failed sooner after a reversed transaction.

The same thing happened to me. I tried to transfer 1,000 to my greendot and received the same message from paypal. huh, technical difficulties. Come to find out, this time it wasnt due to paypal, but greendot doesnt accept any deposits over 500.

Geez, there must be hundreds of posts on these forums warning people not to use green dot. It is even stated in the stealth guide if I recall correctly. If you had done proper research this wouldn't be a problem.

@OP, only time will tell what will happen. Post an update - maybe nothing will happen.

But...you are getting a PP debit...you verified with SSN? If so - act well with the account

@girlbizzness; :amen: yes, yes you are correct I nearly forgot about this limitation with GreenDot, should had just used my business account hence this is a business paypal account (upgraded).

@zoneout; lol! so true, I started using my real paypal and upgraded to a biz account, now that I did this, I never transfer money to that greendot on file. Thus forgot entirely about having a greendot bank account attached.

@Rsot; I processed the withdrawal once more and after two hours of just staring at it, boom!!:doh: dude, I remembered is the greendot bank messing up, that same day I received my debit card, lol! pure stupidity on my part now is up to paypal to tell me they reversed it again. Will just use my card, or just leave the funds there for when I really need 'em.

hercheys, seems like you have changed your operations at least?

@rsot, yeah.. Use my merchant account with virtual terminal thats why I really never used PayPal and if I did, I went with ccnow because I just didn't want dealings with PayPal.

but looking at it now from a fee structured perspective, and paypal here app/reader, it's not looking bad just don't want end up stealth on PayPal like I do now with Amazon. lol!
