Problematic Customers - HELP! trying to take advantage of me

Basically, i agreed i would refund a customer for an item he returned. I refunded him in full, but because i didn't have a sufficient paypal balance at the time the refund was processed as an e-cheque- obviously meaning it takes 7-9 days to clear.

The refund is already 5 days into being processed, NOW the customer has just opened a item not recieved dispute ASWELL  I am worried that paypal will award him another full refund ontop of the refund i have already issued.

Is it possible they will/can do this, or will they look at the transaction and tell the guy to fcuk off and that he has already been refunded?

HELP

I think if you wait till your rcheque has cleared and been refunded you can answer the claim and provide proof of refund with the refund transaction code if im right?

wushuARTIST 07-05-2008 08:07 PM

I am hoping you are right mate! There is no way of cancelling the pending refund either is there?

greg2414 07-05-2008 08:11 PM

no not echeque
Dont worry paypal ent that daft.

greg2414 07-05-2008 08:13 PM

Yeah if cheque bounces yeah that's the only way, but then paypal will give you grief then as in your in the red.

wushuARTIST 07-05-2008 08:21 PM

Hmmmm... so one way i could do things would be to cancel my card, meaning the e cheque would bounce. Would that still work considering 5 days have elapsed since sending the echeque?

Like you say, i am probably pakickin over nothing- but going by some of the paypal horror stories paypal are probably more than capable of issuing two refund for one transaction :D

greg2414 07-05-2008 08:31 PM

Mate let the cheque go through trust me.
Then on the claim, it has an option saying "I have issued a refund" then you just give the transaction i.d. Simple simon!

I thought rather than starting another thread i'd mention another issue i am having in here.

Basically i refunded another customer, they promised to return the item but havn't bothered! THey now have both my money and item.. what can i do?

GreenBean 07-06-2008 05:49 PM

Get nicer customers. There's a customer there now laughing at you.

greg2414 07-06-2008 07:06 PM

Most of my customers have been nice, it's just i sell in such high volume it's inevitable i am going to come into contact with some people trying to scam me.

But don't worry, i have their address remember.. and if required i will cruise round and unleash some wushu on their sorey ass :D

I thought i'd add another one, third and final troublesome customer. This guy is a complete clown.. he is trying to claim he has never recieved his item.

I have sent him proof of delivery and you can see online he has signed for the parcel (in his name!), yet he still insists he hasn't recieved it

Do you guys think maybe this class a clown needs wushuing? Maybe that will jog his memory ;)

greg2414 07-14-2008 07:51 PM

The lyrics go as follows:- Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair;
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Let me taste your ware"
Said the pieman to Simple Simon "Show me first your penny"
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Sir, I have not any!"

you guys already solved this, but if you have an e-check pending and a dispute open the dispute will be automatically closed once the e-check clears as long as you used the refund button for that specific transaction.

ebayhateluv 07-15-2008 12:59 AM

HI: doesnt matter how many complaints they file-Once Refund processed--its all CLOSED.
By the way-if they file Not recd-they Cannot change it to not as described later..One or the other.

>>Just a CAUTION"
:if me"--I would supply PP the TRACKING for the Orig shipment.
This way--a NOt Recd complaint cannot be held against you.. Get that tracking in there..

>>ALL of this "MAY" lead to a Limitation in the future??
