How do I reverse an unclaimed payment?
 

I made a payment to someone, but they fired an employee who had access to their account. So he's in the process of getting his account fixed and whatnot.

The payment that I sent says it's unclaimed. And according to paypal, in the box next to the payment is should give me the option to retract the payment...but it isn't giving me any option to do so.

I need to retract the payment so I can send it to his alternate account.

Any idea?

you should be able to go into the transaction details and cancel the payment.

What do I click after I click on the details link?

The only thing I see that I could do is report a problem through the resolution center.

I think the recipient has 30 days to either accept or deny the payment. I am not sure you can cancel.

Others on here may know for sure.
