Is the amount on the 1099k before paypal fees or after paypal fees?

Hello Forum,

I have a very important question for you guys. I was wondering if the amount on the 1099k is before Paypal fees or is it After Paypal fees. In other words, if I see $5000 in March on my 1099k form, is that the amount I've received minus Paypal fees or am I supposed to figure out the fees myself and subtract it from $5000. Your informed answer is appreciated.

normally it would be before fees and you have to keep track of all that fun stuff

Your fees in most cases will be an expenses taken off the top at your book keepers.

Talk to a tax professional to make sure.
