EIN instead of SSN
 

Need help from you guys. I about to change the SSN with EIN. EIN number is under my name and I am ban from ebay. Is it possible to put in my EIN number and not getting ban from ebay!! I really appreciate if some one can answer. It took me a while to establish this account and I just dont want to loose it.

Is your pp a business account? Did pp REQUEST your SSN? If requested, you wont be able to try a makeover with EIN

Need to clarify if pp is personal, premier, or business

Obviously you have either premier or business because you did not say you were upgrading

Saying doing something will not get you banned from ebay never works.

You have to deal with paypal for EIN/SSN

Have a business account. Have an ein number so want to swap the ssn with ein number. Is it possible or no?? SSN is under my dad's name and EIN number is under my name. I am banned from ebay and have a paypal account linked to that banned ebay account. So they have my details. Is there any way I can get arround with ein number.

Ugh so you used your pop's SSN...oh well. Yes you can put in the EIN but you cant "swap" - the SSN is registered in the pp system...kind of sucks. Hope your account stays alive AND you dont go into negative amount owing....your dad would be angry.

Not going to work since you can't change the name on the account. Even if you use the Ein you still get a 1099k with your old mans name on it. I would advise creating a new everything for yourself in another county in your state, or a different sate if you live in a border region. If you have been kicked of eBay and PayPal for a while. There is no guarantee but create the accounts start selling then when you finally get a request for the Tax ID several months in then give it to them. Sorry to say but trying to swap them out is a disaster waiting to happen.

You can PM about starting over if you have any questions and want to go that route, I have been through this as long as helping a buddy with a similar situation. Otherwise best of luck and I hope you or your old man don't get nasty letters from the IRS.
