Bank address differs from pp account when registering
 

Hello my question is I have a BANK OF AMERICA account and I'm linking it to verify my PayPal account. Does the PayPal account address and the Bank account address have to match or do they just check numbers. And as well as transferring money from PayPal to bank account?

BOA accept miss match name, your address is safe PayPal can not see your address on the bank account in General.

By linking I hope you mean doing the two small deposits. Not the online link.

@Slindamo, bank account address does NOT have to match the pp account address - the cc address should (credit card)

@ZoonVoo, AuctionsDenied makes a valid point on the search feature since the information is in the guide and on the forums - just maybe could have phrased differently.

I agree with some of the above.

We are here to help each other but we also need to let others know they can get a much quicker answer if they use the search button or take the time to read back several pages in most of the threads. They will find multiple and similar questions and answers if they did this.

OP you will find many threads stating they only thing they see is the banking numbers.

Lots to learn here, just have to spend some time reading.
