Using real name on ebay/paypal

Wanted to know if I could use my real name but a different address for paypal. Do they check previous names for accounts or just addres's??

Lots of people have same names so the likelihood is low BUT (BUT) to be truly linkfree, vary your name a bit or flip it around. The issue is that if a manual review comes in order, you could be linked.

Are you using different DOB?

Same name, different address, different dob would be no issue.

The thing is I am having problenms getting deposits from paypal with stealth. mix match names. So I figured I can use mine. But my name is not to common. So I figured I can use a variation on paypal maybe shorten it up and the bank will let it go through? I do not know. I have 2 banks with problems . It used to be paypal that had the problem now it is all these banks!

If you are having problems with your bank due to mix match names then keep you're last name exactly the same but change slightly/shorten you're first name. This should work okay. As banks normally accept a minimum of you're first initial of your first name and your whole last name for most things.

Names

Addresses

DOB

paypal are particular about looking towards linking accounts.

Avoid that

Why are you considering using old linked damaged info

Use Bank of America eBanking, very easy to set up and they do not really care what name the transfer comes in. Another option is StateFarm Bank. They are both free and all you have to do is deposit $25.00 as start up.

Bank of America: If you do not want to be charged $8.00 a month for the service, only use ATM to deposit or withdraw your money.

StateFarm Bank: They do not have branches; therefore, you must use ATM to withdraw or you can transfer your money to your other banks for free via online. The good news is when you use ATM to withdraw your money, you will be charged a fee by the ATM machine and StateFarm will reimburse you that money.

Good Luck!

Did you make sure that the 2 banks are not on the list of banks that have problems with stealth? e.g ING - example.

Sandy D 05-01-2013 01:15 PM

Have you ever used ING yourself rsot?

rsot 05-01-2013 01:19 PM

Used ING Canada for testing last year - did not accept the deposits.

Sandy D 05-01-2013 01:36 PM

Did you know that CAP ONE now owns ING?

rsot 05-01-2013 01:41 PM

Hmm didnt know that Sandy - perhaps in the US then...I did remember reading about Scotiabank up here buying ING Bank of Canada. Must have been a split acquisition.

GreenBean 05-01-2013 06:39 PM

@always

Yes, that is doable.

Such nicknames have worked in the past.

Make it Jon Brown ;)
