Paypal withdrawal pending over 24h
 

My fresh paypal account has a withdrawal pending for over 24h usually clears on the 24h mark, Should i be worried? Its been about 30 hours

I tend to panic if it is 36 hours pending ( or longer)

What bank was used?

used a prepaid card bank account

I had a message on one of my paypal account saying that it could take up to 72 hours, it took 48 but very strange why this happened...At the same time I withdrew from another paypal account and money went straight into my bank! WEird or what!

Must depend on the bank thats all I can think of, even though normally this account takes up to 2 hours...

Your withdraw has been temporarily held for 72 hours by our internal security system.
Once the 72 hours have passed your withdrawal should be processed normally by paypal system and you will receive the funds in your bank account within 2-3 days.

@ goth, bankcorp bank, takes like 48 hours to be completed, do not worry

i have had this happen on occasion too...seems like sometimes they just check your account or the item for which the payments were for...i'm not exactly sure but most times they are completed right away. for me the longest was 3 1/2 days before paypal said completed. money was in bank next day after that though..

Is this the status of a transfer of yours? Hope it passes through - update after 72 hours

I read it more as APP giving advice about the OP's delayed transfer.
Regardless, always a worry to have our funds in transfer and not available to be spent.

Post #4 of mine - implement action to be ready for standard delays of 1-5 days.

A standard delay of funds transfers is pretty serious for business.

Are you meaning this as a personal recommendation or advice from a bank?

I just panicked as my withdrawals are normally 2 hours from .co.uk to a UK bank. This morning it said 4 days !!

After checking I found that I made a mistake and withdrew from .com to a UK account and got a 4 day wait. I'm hoping that's the delay anyway :pry:
