Tracking Not Uploading To Paypal
 

Hello,

When I sell an Item on eBay, I mark it shipped immediately. I later go and add the tracking number manually. However, after cross checking those items in Paypal accounts, the said tracking which I entered manually in eBay is no there. Does anyone know if this is frowned upon by either Paypal or eBay?

P.S. I know when you ship using eBay, the tracking number gets relayed to Paypal as well. However apparently when you add in the tracking number manually, that information is no longer relayed to Paypal. It would be extra work for me to add them both in eBay and Paypal manually.

Why don't you just wait till you actually ship the item THEN upload the tracking?

Also, I upload Tracking Manually for all my items and it's always relayed to Ebay so maybe there is a glitch.

I dropship some of my items, and need the company to provide me with the tracking. It might come in a few hours, and for my record, whenever I order an item from the dropship company, I clicked shipped in my "Awaiting To Be Shipped", so I know which Items I've ordered, so I don't end up double ordering.

The items that I have at hand, I ship automatically using the shipping platform in eBay and the tracking goes to Paypal no problem. However the items I add the tracking number to manually do not go to Paypal.

So why don't you upload the tracking to Paypal 1st, then I'm sure it will get relayed to Ebay.

I'll try that, however I still think I need to add it manually to two places which creates extra work.

I just add straight to Paypal always...I never really upload to Ebay 1st.

Oh ok, I'll give that a try on the next tracking that I get, I'll see how it works. Now that I know this problem, I have to go and manually input many tracking numbers into Paypal. Extra work blah...

easier to input into paypal any tracking.

I find ebay will 'look' at paypal if there's issues.

Can not say paypal manage to do the reverse.

Payapl needs more clicks to input the shipping, vs eBay but that's fine. I'll do both.
