received this notice from paypal..whats next after 180 days?

received this early today...anyone else ever had this happen to them , and what i do not understand is the 180 days thing...any help guys?

Dear XXX XXXXXX,

We are hereby notifying you that, after a recent review of your account
activity, it has been determined that you are in violation of PayPal's
Acceptable Use Policy regarding your sales / offers on eBay.com, user ID:
XXX XXX XXX.

Therefore, your account has been permanently limited.

Per the User Agreement, when PayPal permanently limits an account due to an
Acceptable Use Policy violation, we may hold your funds up to 180 days. In
addition, you will be liable to PayPal for the amount of PayPal's damages
for each violation of the Acceptable Use Policy.

What i do not understand is i can not have access to my funds can not transfer nor accept funds, but will i be able to get them ( funds) after 180 days?

Not sure if you have ever received a 180 day notice but it's pretty self explanatory. They have "Frozen" your Paypal and your Funds will be available in exactly or roughly in 180 days from today, expect your funds to be released by sometime in November.

Now, some people have reported that they have called Paypal after 45-90 days and had funds released but that is a crap-shoot.

Good Luck.

so i will be able to withdraw my funds and be able to send funds and receive funds in 180 days ish? Do i have to contact them or will this be done automatically?

GreenBean 05-05-2013 11:00 PM

NO this account is over. PayPal have decided to part company with you. You might get your funds back. You can do nothing else

You need to go stealth

MM78 05-05-2013 11:01 PM

The account is pretty much dead, the only thing you will be able to do is Transfer your funds to your bank or request a check. The account is gone, consider it dead. It won't be done automatically, once the funds are released you need to manually transfer your funds to your bank account.

You have to be careful of what happens from now. PayPal might fine you if there are problems.
Are you expecting claims?

dreamzilla 05-05-2013 11:13 PM

@GreenBean......define claims.....i know my account is dead and gone, i just want to be able to get access to my funds at some point thats all

Pasicel 05-05-2013 11:22 PM

Account is toast,
Any customer disputes that are occurring or may occur?

dreamzilla 05-05-2013 11:36 PM

Pasciel explained what I meant.

Should buyers 'claim' your total balance will be reduced by their claim.

It has happened that paypal have taken held funds for these reasons.

Sometimes it is not possible to work out how there came to be less funds.

You will ONLY be able to withdraw the funds. You cannot use the PP for anything else (that account specifically).

As for automatically - not really. If you have a bank account on file, you will log-in after 180 days and do the withdrawal to the bank account - you will have to initiate this. If you have a different account in mind, you will have to provide that - usually manual entry will be fine but there are cases (rare) of people having problems.

My own experience with the 180 day block has been smooth after - either withdraw to the bank on file or I enter a new bank account and withdraw
