Questions about best country to use for paypal

I am traveling a lot and I was asking myself which one would be the best country to create a PayPal account, to not have so many problems with your PayPal and also to verify easy.

If my PayPal name and address and everything doesn't match with the VBA it will be a problem or I will have problems in the future?

GreenBean 05-11-2013 01:32 AM

For people who travel, I suggest having the paypal in their own country, even if stealth.

Then when they go overseas, they can tell paypal quite easily they are travelling and to expect log-ins from different places.

This has the advantage for you of being able to use your own country's bank account(s).

The other options of VPS, VPN etc are messy.

But if you could expand on how often you are travelling etc, we can get a better idea.

I am traveling in Canada, UK and France and i am coming in my country once a year

As part of your business is paypal essential?

Have you had issues of limitations before?

No, personal

paypal wants accounts to be 'safe'.

paypal has issues if accounts do not meet their standards. Such accounts get flagged & can be limited.

To have an account in a country not your own could mean the need to use less favourable methods to verify and confirm the account.
( we touched on that in another thread, I recall).
Anyone wanting to do business with paypal, and wanting to do a certain volume/amount would have to give paypal a well made account.
Full bank account, address on record for whatever country would be a better means of using them.
The other option would be using vbas/vcc & addresses that do not exist.
This is not what I would ever recommend

All in all GB and all of you, my colleagues, if you would choose a country between CA, US, UK and France, would one would you choose?

US, but I'd take note of Greenbean's advice.

UK PayPal questions, please a little help

Well I want to create a new PayPal account in UK cause they don't ask for SSN or any other info.

How can I verify it?
I can use an AVS to confirm an address?
Which are the problems which can appear while using an UK PayPal?
Advantages?

Ebayorbust 05-11-2013 04:04 AM

Only a UK bank account will verify a UK paypal.

GreenBean 05-11-2013 04:11 AM

UK paypal needs a bank account to verify.

It needs a vcc to confirm the address.

There are money laundering limits that need to be removed at £1900.

Your idea is not as good as you are hoping.

What's wrong with CA paypal?
Some times ago, as I know, it was good in use because they didn't ask SSN. But what happenned now?

sax4 05-11-2013 05:40 AM

Good Paypals are ones that you can withdraw to a card :thumb:

actually sax was giving you a good tip as a traveller, but as you are not going to a withdraw to card country, I would say US as you will be going there and vba are available. Uk is ok too but you need a bank, and they are very hard for foreign nationals to get unless they have an address that they can document, but if you can get one, then maybe Uk is ok.

Another option is your own country one, complete all verifications and either use vpn/vps or call them and tell them you travel, so you do not get flagged on foreign ips.....

crunch1 05-11-2013 07:44 AM

who said something about withdraw? I will use this paypal only for online orders

crunch1 05-11-2013 08:15 AM

If we are talking about US Paypals, i have 3 q about this

1. I shouldn't worry about SSN request?
2. I should verify it with VBA and vcc too?
3. It will be any problem if the VBA details doesn't match with pp details?

oompaloompa 05-11-2013 11:38 AM

ssn can be asked for at some point, yes.
you need vba to verify, you can add vcc too.
vba work just to verify, mismatch ok as you are not withdrawing to them, try sellers here on forum.

@OP, if you have time, money and resources - open up all over the platforms, test+trial+experiment - maybe you can teach us more about different intricacies in each country :thumb: you could be at the forefront.

I dont have the time or resources like you do so I hope it works out well for you on your choices

Reply was relevant to your question.

Dont think otherwise.

USA accounts get looked at closely like all countries.

Carefully consider all your options or you will waste your time with any account being limited

I can offer my own little story here, but keep in mind yours might not play out the same. On an old Paypal account (UK Paypal) that I had had for perhaps 6 months, all was going well until I began traveling. By accident I logged in from Central America. My account itself was not limited or frozen, but they no longer let me use any of the credit cards that I had linked to the account. Even after I returned home and called them, they would not let me use my friggin credit cards. It's best to use good private proxies and avoid logging in from different countries entirely.
