question with name match on paypal/ebay and SSN

I am reaching the $20,000 mark soon

Paypal will be asking me for a SSN

However, my paypal and ebay account is under my Middle and Last name

Is this going to cause problems with the account once I add the SSN?

Why not stop selling on that account and open a few more and then you won't have to worry?

Before you do a single thing regarding this, read a lot more of the forum.

You appear to not understand all that you can do in regards to this.

Consider the seriousness of supplying the SSN.

Agreed, run multiple accounts. I am surprised your account hasn't been locked from receiving funds and closing the account if you are that close to the mark this early in the year.

That is a good probe question - OP is operating well but the use of multiple accounts as suggested by other thread contibutors is a VERY wise move for future business.

Stop using the account so you do not have to provide them your SSN.

You have been very lucky so far as many got hit with this long before those numbers.

Multiple accounts should be ready and running.

No way would I give them my SSN.

You should be find giving them EIN. They dont match the name with ein number as it is for business and owner could be anyone. Or open a new paypal account and use that ein numbwer!
