Paypal has big cojones I'm sure this has happened 1000x before, but I just wanted to share.
I have a client that I dropship for. He's been doing the stealth thing a little but and it seems like he sold a little too aggressively to start.
He waited a few weeks before making a payment. When he finally did, a few days later his account gets limited AND Paypal freezes my $950 in total payments. The email I received actually said Paypal was conducting an investigation to "protect me"... it was not initiated by the sender.
Anyways, I added to the dispute that I offered a service, and he also put the same. After that, Paypal does the usual "we are gathering information for this investigation...". 2 weeks go by and still nothing. Finally today, they returned all the money to him and kept his account limited with the usual list of ridiculous requirements.
Sure enough, I had a feeling about this one. I login to my Paypal and they charged me a $25 "reversal" fee for the whole ordeal and send me an email stating my account is in the negatives, here's a few ways to load funds...
I can't help but LOL. They won this battle for sure, but they won't win the next few, I know that much. I made this a little long for people who don't want to read so here's the short&sweet version:
1. Client sends me money
2. I cash out like I usually do, it's my real account, never had a problem with it
3. Paypal limits his account and freezes the funds sent to my account
4. I say I offered a service and delivered
5. He says I offered a service and delivered
* 2 week intense "Paypal investigation"
6. Paypal sends funds back to his limited account, gives him the mega-list of things to confirm to claime funds
7. My account goes in the negatives
8. Paypal sends me email telling me how to add funds to my account, and charges me $25 for the payment reversal (big LOL)
9. I post here because it's pathetic
Ok maybe it's not much shorter in the end heh |
