PP reinstatement HeII .....HELL ...I got through it
 

Oh my G-O-D. It took a gruesome many weeks of phone calls to third party groups to dig back up old financial info, phone calls and emails back and forth with banks and PP, incompetant PP reps who either played dumb or be dumb, trial and errors on automated verification PP pages............

I think I got super lucky cause at first PP verify yourself page required the full CC number from over 5 years ago ( I didnt have it written down, even my bank doesnt keep records that far back...pre 2008 they said all CC 16 digits are purged from their systems). THEN I logged out PP and after lots of arguing got to another option to input the latest BA info....................I skipped the old security answers and now I think Its in the clear.

**MORAL of the story: keep full BA numbers and cc #s you use always written down everything.

**unfortunately the EB that was tied to this PP is dead........... is it advised I do not make another EB and tie it to this same PP? will the EB bott eventually notice and suspend both accounts ? I know it'd be a risk attaching this Paypal to a New Stealth EB but what is the process, EB has a bot that eventually finds the link or what ??

Yes they will link it. It is a very controversial topic on this board. But myself included have closed similar PayPal's and reused the bank accounts with a new stealth eBay/PayPal down the road.

But in its current form if you try to use another eBay account with that PayPal it will be linked and the eBay will be suspended as well.

Advised to NEVER use old info - go fresh, clean and stealth processes.

Avoid this kind of h*ll in the future
