PayPal payment recieved, yet still processing?
 

In the last several of days I've had 3 different US eBay accounts (2 month old stealth) sell an item, received the email from PayPal saying payment received and ok to ship yet it still shows the hour glass indicating payment is still processing. In the past I've seen this occur, but it's usually followed up within a couple of hours by an email from PayPal saying OK to ship. All 3 of these are over 36 hours.

Is this unusual or a co-incidence?

This also happens if in your listing you put the wrong paypal email address, so the money was sent to another address and is sitting their, if this is the case you can check to see if that email is registered if not than go and register it, and than log into paypal and add the new email address and confirm it and the money drops in within a minute. Go to the sold listing and click on sell similar and just look at what paypal address is listed, this is how you will find out if you misspelled it by a letter or number or something. And if the email is already in use you need to cancel the transaction and send an invoice from your paypal to a customers.

This has happened to me and i know i didnt mess up the email because i just re listed something , so i think its a glitch in ebay that sometimes messes up the email address automatically, this happened twice to me and they were off by one letter

All 3 show that payment is received in PayPal and no indication not to ship. Yet in eBay, there is the hour glass that indicated payment is processing.

All 3 have had sales from their BIN listings.

In the past, it was PayPal running a little security check on the buyer, but usually only lasted a couple of hours.

The hour glass is likely a delay between the platforms. The Paypal message says to ship then do so - you can do tracking?

Given the PayPal glitches you may be caught with one here

If you can cover yourself tracking wise then decide what is safest for you

I had the same situation. No idea if it is the technical problem. I got my items anyway. Still the clock is there.

You can contact seller to ask if they receive the fund. Most of the cases I contacted them, they said dont worry fund would be released after 24hrs and items would be shipped.

Still have the clock in more transactions and no problem for shipping.

I went into 1 account and shipped out using eBay. The other 2 I marked as paid and shipped them thru Inkfrog. Weird. The only times I see that delay is when PayPal is going a quick security check on the buyer. I guess I'll know fairly soon.

paypal just sent me a survey to ask me what I thought of them....

Oops im very sorry for not reading carefully. I am the buyer. Thanks rsot. I agree with JJGold. After 3-5 days of purchase, I did not see the tracking number. I have to send message to seller(s) and they said the fund is still pending from paypal (and a clock on my account). I did ask them to contact paypal and they did. Fund is released when sellers contact pp.

Please correct me if i am wrong.
