| Ayusaga | 06-14-2013 01:57 AM | Banks that allow quick online account opening Hey, does anyone know if StateFarm, Suntrust, USBank, HarrisBank or MBFinancial give you the privilege of making an account online in under 5 minutes after your initial account opening?
To explain more on what I mean by that, here's an example. When you open an initial bank account with BOA (as in you have at least one bank account with them and have it attached to your online banking username), you can apply for and create more accounts INSTANTLY online. I'm asking if StateFarm, Suntrust, USBank, HarrisBank or MBFinancial also has that method of multiple account opening. I know of about 5 other great banks that do and work excellently, but I want to know if these banks have the same method. |
| mobilecontractsuk | 06-14-2013 02:30 PM | I think this can be done with many UK banks. |
| Dmshark25 | 06-14-2013 02:38 PM | From whatever other members say statefarm does a hard credit check on you |
| JJGold | 06-14-2013 03:08 PM | What are the 5 other great banks that you know? Offer up some info and I'll do the same. |
| danshan | 06-14-2013 03:10 PM | lets hear them why is everyone holding their cards? |

I know that they don't for their savings accounts since savings accounts aren't really as risky as checking accounts because of their purpose and limitations. Quote:

Notice how many people don't post great information publicly due to abuse and the possibility of EBPP catching on to it. |
| jeffweico | 06-14-2013 07:18 PM | Chase and BOA work. eBay can't stop doing business with the larger banks, they have millions of customers. And stealthers only number in the hundreds, or low thousands.
Having said that, sometimes local banks can work best but when finding a good one, the information is not usually shared. |
| Ayusaga | 06-14-2013 07:28 PM | Wow, just signed up for one of them, US Bank, and they allow multiple account opening after you sign up. I also contacted customer service through chat for the rest and found out that the remaining four allow it. Not bad.
Also, after a certain amount of funds have been deposited and certain amount of transactions made across multiple accounts, you have to make sure you switch over to one of their business accounts to continue getting funds from EBPP or they'll close all of your bank accounts. |
| GreenBean | 06-14-2013 07:40 PM | Right of any bank to do that.
Onus is on the customer to select the correct type of account in the first place.
Having a 'good' and working bank account is crucial to successful stealth.

| danshan | 06-14-2013 10:11 PM | I dont think ebay and pp are hear scouting what we are doing and if they did they would not have much info all real info is in private |
| bjammin | 06-14-2013 10:37 PM | I love Chase. Great bank in general. Just made my first PP w/d last week. Everything was hunky dorey. I have 3 stealth accounts with Chase so far. |
Once you have a Harris Bank account, you can make new accounts online in minutes - they will send you something to sign for in the mail. They will need your ID on file though - no treachery there. |
| GreenBean | 06-17-2013 06:41 PM | Good bank Harris.

Little high on the fees if you dont take care of your accounts |

| mjstallion | 06-22-2013 12:39 AM | I asked because foreigners seem to be able to open accounts there. |
| Ayusaga | 06-22-2013 04:56 PM | Here are the five banks that I know for sure that has immediate account opening after your initial account.
Citibank
Alliant Credit Union
Ally
HSBC
Bank of America
These banks also let you fund and use the account right away.
Also, with Ally and HSBC, be careful with them. When you have 5+ accounts with them and lots of money rolling in on their personal accounts, they hate it and try to close all of your accounts for it. When you make a certain amount, either change them to business accounts or move some of the accounts over to another bank. |

| Ayusaga | 07-05-2013 07:06 PM | Also, be careful making multiple checking accounts with some banks. Some banks do hard inquiry credit checks for their checking accounts and they will affect your credit each time you open a checking account. |

| hapajenn1 | 08-18-2013 08:57 PM | what about Citibank (checking & savings) ?
from what i've heard Citibank is one of the better banks for foreign business , but i do not know at the moment in regards to name mismatch. |
| Furious George | 08-18-2013 09:04 PM | HSBC and capital one 360 work very well for this |

They're familiar with the drill because so many Canadians who live near the border have accounts there. It's the same story with Bank of America. A bonus for BoA is that you can withdraw or add funds at any Scotiabank ATM with no service service fees.
I have yet to find a bank in the U.S. that allows Canadians, who don't have a U.S SSN, to open an account online. All the ones I've spoken to require me to come into a branch. Does anyone know of any that don't require an SSN? |

No UK banks allow people to open up to 5 accounts within a very short time of the initial account opening with them, this is not accurate information! |
| danshan | 01-22-2015 10:13 AM | Re: Banks that allow quick online account opening Us banks require a ss# from us citizens not foreigners but all require an actual visit in a us bank branch to open it. |
| joesshooze | 01-22-2015 07:03 PM | Re: Banks that allow quick online account opening Once you have a BB&T account you can open more online. I am not sure about mis matched names any more though. |
| applebaum | 01-22-2015 08:22 PM | Re: Banks that allow quick online account opening Foreigners can open bank accounts in the US but they have to be present at the time and there is extra paperwork. They cannot open accounts online.
