Paypal wanting Verification on new accounts?
 

Hi everyone,

I tried using a 5month old paypal account for the first time to purchase a cheap item and right away limited.

This is the message I get:

This is the third account.

The other two I tried selling something but this one I was just going to buy a item to test out the problem and right away limited...

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have been on Stealth for about 3 years now and have followed all instructions no problem but this has been going on for a week now all of a sudden

.. I am trying to verify one of the accounts and give paypal a call but its really strange to me..

Any ideas? Thanks

Everything been working fine on US accounts maybe someone else could help you, you sure u didnt create any links

Well guess what! I just called PayPal and they confirmed all new accounts need drivers licence and a bill !

I helped my friend get set up with an ebay & paypal account just to buy with and maybe sell down the road and she also had to provide a driver's license number, this was the first week of this month. They didnt request a bill however, not yet anyway but she added her credit card which confirmed her address so perhaps that is why they didnt ask for one.

This is such a pain. Now for every new account u need a DL, bill and confirm credit card!

Not the case in the United States

This is going to be a lot of work for PayPal too. To verify every new account made in australia
