PayPal, an online payments broker, has admitted it mistakenly credited a man with $92 quadrillion (£60 quadrillion). The company quickly recognised the error and returned the customer's account to zero.

even just 92k would be great........ and has anyone ever had the chance to withdraw before the error was spotted by Paypal?

This has been posted a number of times already.

Flags would get raised fast if you tried to withdraw that sort of money.

Even if you did, PP would chase you down hard for it, as would the courts.

And just WHERE are you supposed to withdraw 92 quadrillion dollars? Even with $100 bills, you would need thousands of trucks. Not to mention, I don't think the entire PLANET is worth $92 quadrillion dollars...

Can you imagine the emails about that if you tried?

You CANNOT hide that much money. Like the line in the Die Hard movie went... You can steal $600 and disappear. If you steal $600 MILLION, they WILL find you!

First of all if you tried to keep the money that would be theft.

Second of all why on earth would the person who got this come forward and make a public appearance about it?

I would not want to be known as this person as his life will now be filled with scammers and all sorts of people who do not understand how this worked out.
