opening a new bank account with the traditional bank for eBay seller account
 

Hello eBay stealth experts,
I would like to create a seller account. And since, as has been pointed out in the guide, I have likely had my bank account information from my previous ebay account black listed by eBay I need to open a new bank account with a traditional bank. But since I need to use my real name to open a bank account with a traditional bank like Wells Fargo or B of A, when I use this new bank account opened under my real name, won't it be flagged by ebay because its under the same name as my original ebay sellers accounam I missing something, or is there a way to open a bank account with the traditional bank without using my real name?

I know an alternative is to use a virtepaid cards that have attached bank accounts, but what about a traditional bank account?

You DO NOT open a bank account w/ information other than your own. Instead, find a bank that doesn't care about mismatch name verification. This way, your PP name can be John Doe and you can still make withdrawals to your bank account (with your REAL name).

My bank of choice is BoA.

CoMerica, BOA, USBank, are some of the banks that you can open (In your Name) that will allow mismatch name deposits.

When you enter the Routing/Account numbers into Paypal, Paypal only see's those numbers entered and not the Name attached to the account numbers.

So if your Paypal Name is Mike Smith but your Real Name is George Norman, Paypal Assumes that the name on the Account Number you entered is Mike Smith.

Bnk Info should always be your own.

And similarly, ds BofA not care about mismatched addresses as well when I make deposits?

I ask because I plan to use a new address (not my home address) with paypal and Ebay, and I'm assuming that B of A won't let me open a new one without using my home address, especially since I'm already using a BofA account for all of my daily expenses, and they already know my home address.

When opening a bank account the info MUST be real info.

Search the forum for the bank you want to open an account with to see if there are any known issues. If there are not, then go ahead and open the account.

So long as PP never need to use the Direct Debit they will never be any wiser of the actual name on the bank account.

Again, you use your stealth name in PP not when applying for a bank account.

Must use your information when signing up for bnk acct.

Right, I understand you have to use your real information when opening a bank account. So, I opened the checking account with BofA and they let me use the address of my PObox as my mailing address. I made sure that instead of saying "PO box" and then the number, I used the word "unit" followed by the number; I also used the street address of the post office where my PO box is. I used my real name of course--they wouldn't let you use another name even if you wanted to, because they ask to see your drivers license. Anyway, they gave me a debit card with the account

At what point do I need to use a virtual CC if I do? I would of course use a false name when opening paypal account and ebay account.

Address has nothing to do with Deposits....Whatever Address you open the bank account with will have zero affect on stealth. Just make sure you get a bank that allows for mismatch deposits.

That's wrong, Paypal doesn't see the address on the Bank Account, The Debit Card is another story.

When it comes to Debit Card/CC it should match the stealth address.

Do not use your Debit Cards that are associated with your Real address.

You can use a VCC OR use a Gift Card, Recommend a Vanilla Visa Gift Card which all you really need is to register the card with the stealth zipcode.

Better to use a VCC at this point.

Don't use your own card.

a VCC can be registered to any address, zipcode...Your Debit Card is Registered to your REAL address. Leave your Debit Card out of the equation...

Actually, my debit card which is used for my new checking account is NOT associated with my real mailing address. It's associated with a PO Box which I just opened up at a local post office.

If you plan on opening the Stealth account with the P.O. Box address then go ahead but I still rather use a Gift Card or VCC, but that's just me.

Yes, especially if I would end up using my PO Box as my address anyway for any VCC or gift card...Otherwise, I see no benefit of using a VCC/gift card over debit card.

VCC/gift card is used to help confirm your paypal because it works for AVS.

Bank issued debit card does not.

We make suggestions with stealth to do things in easy ways rather than have too many troubles.

Why does the Direct Debit show up your real name to paypal?

The electronic transfer from the bank has the account holder's name "attached" to it.

Likewise when money is withdrawn from a paypal account the stealth name is attached to the transfer. Thankfully most UK banks don't bother about this mismatch in the name.
