Transferring funds

Has anyone else experienced this? I tried to transfer funds to a bank account which usually is completed in 24 hours, however 3 days pass and transfer still pending.

If I withdrawl funds from Paypal to my bank Monday the funds will be in my account by Wednesday morning

Unless I did the withdrawl at 11pm Monday than it may be there THURSDAY .

Also I have many bank accounts and Bank of America is the only bank if I withdrawl funds by 8am Thursday morning they will be in my bank by Saturday 3am.

All other banks I have if I withdrawl after 10pm Wednesday it won't be in my bank till Monday

Very rare to get it in 24 hours.

Has happened but extremely rare occasion.

What I mean by "completed" is when you log into pp and see the status of your withdrawal. It is usually complete in 24 hours and by 48 hours funds are in my account. However, recently I have had transfers say pending for 3 days sometimes.

Maybe the Bank your using is taking longer to accept the funds? Does seem a bit odd but I guess as long as you get your funds at some point is a win.

I doubt it is anything to worry about. I usually get funds in 2 to 3 days, depending on the bank. Some banks process these more quickly than others. If another day or two go by and the funds are still pending, then it could be a problem.

I have had funds transferred take up to 5 days - way too early to worry about it - PP account is still in goodstanding so you should be fine.

Pretty much instant most times in the UK, at most a 1 or 2 hour wait.

Have seen an increase in the 24 hour waiting period in the UK though.

artfulldodger 08-12-2013 04:34 PM

yes here in the uk it takes 2hrs

Depending on the bank you are transferring to, will determine how long the withdrawal will take.

I have received funds anywhere from 2-5 business days depending on the bank accepting the funds.

I found out the other day that there is a clearing house of sorts involved in all this. The bank told me they get notice of incoming funds and you can call your bank and they will tell you. At least BB&T could. I agree 24 hours has never happened to me. God Luck!

igotsuspended 08-14-2013 06:09 PM

I always have transfers to show completed in 24 hours in pp and money to be appeared in my bank within next business day.

MM78 08-14-2013 07:32 PM

I've noticed that my funds do make it to my bank account 1 day faster than using Prepaid Services.

What was the outcome on this?

How long did it take?
