Paypal flagging IP's

Slightly technical question.

So, obviously it's a big no no to use the same IP on two separate paypal accounts. But how about an IP that is only 1 digit away?

e.g. IP1: 155.146.85.5
IP2: 155.146.85.6

Could it raise a red flag if the behavior of the two accounts were the same?

If the IP changes by 1 digit it is fine. I don't believe that a change by 1 IP will raise any flags.

An IP that is 1 digit different is perfectly fine. It can represent a totally different user (miles away from you) on that ISP's network...ebay/paypal have no way of differentiating.

As long as IP is different, even by 1 digit, you're fine.

Not on IP alone. But if you are operating the same way on both accounts, you can be linked by using the same style. You need to keep listings separate. This means you do not use the same images or listing styles. Remember, each stealth account should be operated independently of one another...nothing needs to be shared or the same between the two.

From what I have been reading about IPs, one digit is enough EXCEPT when it's only the LAST digit...that's too close of a IP address....the last digit could indicate that you are on a network of IPs.

Try to have a change of the other places in the IP - wherever the X is e.g. XXX.XXX.XX.n (if n is the only thing that changes...it's too close of an IP).

There are a few posts about this phenomenon in the IP section

One digit change is fine, so long as its not a obvious patten like

111.111.1.111
111.111.1.112
111.111.1.113
111.111.1.114
111.111.1.115

A one off from 111.111.1.111 to 111.111.1.112 would be fine, so long as the next is more distinct, like 111.111.1.821
