CC expired, should I update?
 

I have a US PP account which is more than 2 years old. Of course it is a stealth account :) I just got a email from PP that my CC is about to expire. Do I have to update my PP with a new VCC or gift card? If not, can I still sell in ebay?
My PP account is verified and has a bank account linked.

Just pop in a new gift card or VCC - you should update the PP account.

I have done this with cards that expire on my PP account without problems - it's simple.

Same stealth registration rules apply

Hmm it depends - I like smooth sailing with PP so I don't let things just "ignored"....you might be ok but since I do purchase with my VCC/gift CC via PP, I always need a credit card on file - I mix up selling and buying activity for all my accounts.

i have had a paypal account with expired cc and it was fully operational without problems for few months, later i needed to add a card for other reasons so it might be ok but updated info will always be the better choice

U wouldn't ever fool around with an account. Add the new VCC right away. Treat the accounts correct and they will last a very long time!

Just go ahead and update the information. Better to keep PP from sending you notices. The least you get inquiries or notices from them the better.

Total no brainer. Ofcourse you need to update the cc.

DOn't just update... remember to verify it as well , otherwise it won't do anything just by adding it.
