Need Help Regarding Adding a Bank Account
 

Whenever I try to add my Bank of America to my Canadian Paypal, it keeps saying "you cannot add a bank at this time". This has been going on for over a month. I actually almost added the bank account, but ever since I changed my phone number on the account, it has given me this message.

Should I call Paypal about this? I heard they can sort it out but I don't want to get screwed over because of it.

Big issue on Canadian PP - inability to add US banks - 6 or so weeks ago, you could call in and manually add but lately, seems to have been blocked completely.

You can try but I think it will lead no where.

US banks are being phased out of ALL pp platforms except the US it would seem right now :mad2:

What other option do I have for getting my Paypal money in the form of cash?

You can try the check method but you would need to have access to the address on the paypal account. Or try to send the money on another paypal account with a bank account attach but that comes with risks. Last option is to buy something off the internet that accept paypal.

Yeah I've been buying Amazon Giftcards, but I prefer have money in my bank account so I could use my debit card.

Canadian bank account if you can drive up with ID is an option...

People are going to have too start moving back to US Ebay/PP...Ebay/PP are probably starting to catch on to our antics.

Alright but it wouldn't hurt to call in right? Even though it might lead to nowhere?

You can try to call in - have all your info ready - please report back with your findings - PP is UNLIKELY just to limit you if you call to add bank account.

Hope you can add it but - from what few people have indicated recently - you may just get a run around.

Dont like this trend of not being able to use US banks as before at all

Do what you need to do to get your own money.

Be prepared with all your info at hand etc.
