Got a call from Paypal..They have started to crack down
 

Today I got a call from PayPal.

They called me and asked to speak to ??
Because this is stealth name etc etc. I knew the name but not the address and dob due to my many accounts due to many numbers forward to my mobile.

Anyway, PayPal said can I speak to so and so
"I yes it is me...was hoping she does not ask more info"
Luckily I asked what's this regarding.
She said " You have sold some items and wanted to make sure you are the one selling"
I replied. "Yes I did and I refunded a buyer back and some are to be posted but due to bank holidays I was delayed"

She asked, " Have you got tracking number"?
I played dumb and said "yes I do"
She asked "why have you not put it on eBay"?
Told her "i am working and would go home and do it, also asked how to do it"

She laughed and said no problems. And I said thanks for your call and have a nice day

The feeling I got was, they check up to make sure I am the owner and no one is using my account....I was about to delete the telephone number from soho, but I think it best to leave it.

Okay, time to cool of the account. This account is paypal limit lifted and 130 items per month.


Just stay calm and speak politely. Was not nervous and it has like 4 years or so for this stealth.

Time to sort out my other accounts and make sure have active telephine lines

Interesting, from my experience, paypal RARELY calls. You must have triggered a big red flag, but maybe they valued your account, so rather than just limit you, they gave you a courtesy call.

Has this account already been limited in the past?

No. This account has not been used much. Good DSR.

The only thing I can think some idiot emailed to say why this ebay member was
bidding on all my items.
