What happens if you ignore this PP pop up?

It seems like every couple of weeks I get a pop up msg. from PP to confirm my phone number. It offers a "ask me later" button. What happens if I keep doing this. Is there like a limited number of times I can do this before it escalates?

Eventually they will suspend you and hold your cash till you verify the number and jump through a few flaming hoops for their amusement.

This is a question you really shouldn't have had to ask as it was pretty clear what you needed to do from the get go.

Thank you for the answer bigboddie. The post script was just not necessary. I am here to learn and help others. Not chastise for asking a simple question.

Joe

After a couple of times they will see you did not answer them and might just limit your account forcing you to provide to them docs etc.

Hoping you have a working phone number on all of your accounts in case they do want to call.

So I guess if your working number is a forwarding service you need to indicate it's a home number since they'll send a text code if you indicate a cell number? Is this correct?

OP: I don't think anything happens if you ignore it. Many users here use GV for their accounts, and you can't confirm a paypal text message through GV.

I've been getting these for months and I always ignore them. If I ever lose an account over it, then I will update my accounts and take appropriate action, as well as notify the forum, but as of now, it's more of a nuisance than anything.

I appreciate the feedback. I just confirmed the mobile number on the account in question. I always had a phone attached to the account I just never confirmed it. The reason I was terrified to do it in the 1st place is I was afraid it would prompt me to call them. I am just not down for that. But it's done and thank you all for answering. Wow, that relieved a lot of anxiety.
