Use credit card instead of Balance / Paypal
 

How can I use my credit card to make purchases instead of using my balance??
I don't use it to make purchases for tax reasons and it would be a huge headache to re-arrange my bookkeeping.

If I withdraw my whole balance first then paypal gets mad and I don't have funds for returns etc.
If I try to use a different paypal account then it will say the credit card is already linked to another paypal account please log in blah blah blah

Oh yea and I would like the credit card points as well!

Is it possible??

U can't use your real CC if its a stealth account you need a prepaid

It should give u the option on checkout if u want to use ur Paypal balance or credit card

Choose the credit card funding option when you go to pay

At payment you are given the option to nominate what you want to use.

Make the credit card your choice.

Watch to make sure it happens too.

Why do you ask that?

OP said if he uses ANOTHER paypal he will get the message of the card already being used because it is on the account he is talking about....

Ok it seemed for a moment like OP had - that's cleared up.

Anyhow, OP I have used a real cc for stealth pp by registering it to the address of the pp account (but different name) - that way I chose "credit card" as form of payment and I am able to make purchases and get points or reward points or whatever incentive you get.

Danger level is perceived danger - frankly, using a real cc registered to my stealth account address but different name is low danger level for me because 1) I am not doing claims against my own credit card 2) that particular account is just purchasing so no selling (sorry if I was unclear on that - I dont sell with a real cc attached...just for principle :) ) 3) my purchases are for personal use only pretty much with the odd gift here and there

Suggest you expand on that time should you consider giving such advice to others.....

They may not understand the repercussions. They may treat it as a 'normal' thing.

Banks take exception to address changes with cards. Some files may get marked negatively.

This is NOT for amateurs.
