Routing Number Question
 

My bank has told me I can open as many new sub accounts as I would like which will all have new bank account numbers but will retain the same routing number.

Would this work with PayPal? I'm not sure if all customers at my bank have the same routing number or if it is unique to everyone.

The routing number always stays the same for the same bank it's just the nine digit number that describes a particular bank that always stays the same for particular branch

Works fine OP - routing number identifies the BANK. Thousands of people use the same bank - account number is personal and is the main idea

I just read through the stealth guide and it specifically says the routing number must be different as well? Also in this thread (post #15) Green Bean says otherwise -

I just purchased 3 new accounts and don't want to screw it up.

Nothing to indicate about the routing number situation. Now this being said, again, as long as the account numbers are different, it's fine. Routing number is the Bank ID - lots of people use the same bank. Personal experience: I have one bank in the US with a routing number....I have 5 or so accounts with it - account numbers are different, routing number is same - no issues with link because of this dreamtfk.
