Did I mess up?
 

I made a mistake - used Paypal as my automatic payment for Ebay and they withdrew money from my bank (real name) to pay my Ebay fees. Ughh - I forgot the date to pay my ebay fees.:ban?: I didn't have any money in the bank account so echeck was rejected.

I know Paypal will only see my real name if they have a manual review. Can someone tell me when a manual review occurs? I don't know if I should keep on using this Paypal account for fear it will get limited one day.

Also - everytime I receive a payment and ship something out, I call Paypal to release the payment instead of waiting 21 days. Should I stop doing this because they might see my real name now? Not sure if the people I talk to on the phone can see my real name.

It is very likely that PayPal will see your real name, especially since the check did not go through. It is also inadvisable to call PayPal to have funds released since it draws attention to your account. Automation is your friend.

Will you lose the account for sure? It is hard to say. But to PayPal it is going to look like either fraud is occurring OR the account holder is desperate for money. Not ideal, in either case. But you could get lucky, it has happened before....

1 time, you should be ok OP - yes PP can see the real name...action can be taken during manual review but are you LIKELY to be manually reviewed? Probably not for this 1 time payment of fees (it's a positive transaction - meaning money goes towards eB fees). If you have problems down the road, possible. Make sure to avoid from here.

Yet another reason to pay eB fees in ADVANCE with a vcc/gift card
