Mom gave me a used bank account# !!!
 

ok so i haven't been able to get a bank account lately for various reasons... i closed my membership with my other bank because the savings accounts were no longer free.

and so i asked my mom if i could use a savings account of hers.

she's never had an ebay or paypal account... i used one of her bank accounts like, YEARS ago with my first account when i was in highschool. it wasn't a savings account tho because i didn't know about stealth.

so i've been trying to add this bank account for a week and it just kept saying "unknown service error" and i called them today because i thought it was a glitch and the guy told me it had been used with another account

WTF MOM the ONE thing i trust you with and you screw it up?

i can only guess her boyfriend used it for his selling account when he owed her money... stupid. yeah stupid on my part too i know.

TLDR they haven't linked and limited me... yet. what should i do? thinking about preparing for the worst and gifting my funds to another account but if there's a chance they wont link me maybe i shouldn't?

Only time will tell, I would start making other accounts.

Make sure that next time you use your own bank accounts.

Never recommended to use anything of a families.
