Amazon Launches PayPal-Type Service
 
Amazon has launched a PayPal type of service - kind of. It is not exactly the same, but they are now accepting payments on behalf of other e-commerce sites. Here is an interesting article:

Whoever keeps more money from the seller for longer period of time without access to funds will be the greater evil.

They had this for years. One my server companies has it. I use it now that they remove Google checkout. Wish my other one took it got to enter card info few times a month as they do not save it.

It'd be nice if there was real competition against paypal, but no one has really been able to make a dent in their business.

If this goes well, I hope paypal will see that their business practice has been less than desirable and they'll change for the better.

I think it's a very smart move by amazon, makes me want to buy their stock again lol. If they market it well, I see it being highly successful.
