Does PayPal See My Real Name on my Bank Acct
 

Hi all. I've done a lot of reading but this is my first post. I love this forum; great stuff. I do have a question. I've searched for an answer but didn't find anything definite.

I'm creating a new stealth acct, using a stealth name. However, my bank acct has my real name on it. In the USA, PayPal sends the 2 small deposits to our bank accts to verify that you own the acct, and then they take the deposits back.

I know that PayPal usually can only see the acct routing and checking #. But, when PayPal takes the small deposits back from the bank acct, can they then see the real name on the acct? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums.

Yes - technically they can - this is for everyone since a receipt CAN be generated on the bank sending funds back to PP. Will PP act only on this info to do anything? Low likelihood.

Hi rsot. Thanks for the reply. I have a PayPal account that was locked. If PayPal sees my real name on my stealth bank account, will they link my stealth account with the bad account? Have anyone had problems with this? Thanks again.

It's all about likelihood and risk. I have used all bank accounts under my own name to verify PP accounts so (theoretically) when they take the 2 deposits, they can see my true name. Have I had issues JUST because of that? No - it's very low likelihood of a pure link on that aspect. Worry more about ALL the other steps.

Thanks rsot! I really appreciate your feedback and I appreciate this forum. I've already started working on stealth accounts. I'm about to purchase the ebook also. Hopefully, I will get back on and start making money again. Thanks again.

If you have read lots on the forum you surely would have read the many post that paypal does not see your name UNLESS they pull the deposits back out of the account and the bank makes a mistake and gives up that info.

This question is asked over and over again almost daily and has been covered many times.

Most banks wont be suckered by paypals scams of trying to get information through illegal means as it is against the law for a bank to share this info with paypal.

I have read MANY threads on this very subject. I am aware that it's been asked many times. However, I haven't seen what you are stating; that almost everyone says PP won't see your real name. From what I've seen the opinions are very mixed.

This thread is a good example of this. Only two people have replied and both gave different answers. The first answer was that chances are PP will see your info. Then you said that most likely they won't see your info. This is what I've come across in my search so I decided to ask again to see if I can get some clarification. I want to get this stealth thing down as good as possible.

But I really appreciate the feedback. I will keep doing my research. Thanks again.
