Transfering money from new PP to old PP
 

Been selling on ebay for 10+ years (now banned) and have had a PP account for even longer (still active and in good standing). I have a grandfathered PP debit card with 1.5% cash back on purchases.

My question is, if I go the stealth route and to get a new PP account to attach to a new eBay account. Can I safely transfer money from my new account to my old account so that I can utilize the 1.5% cash back to purchase my supplies?

You would be linking your two accounts which may work for a little while but eventually ending in a limit.

It sucks been their and in the beginning not having that card sucks but , the only way is to make link free accounts and just keep making more while selling the best u can and it takes time but they will all grow and when ur making in a day what u were a month trust me losing that 1.5% was the best thing that happened to u , stealth is more of 1000% if done correct

Important thing you need to start over and ur first instinct is to miss what u lost and that takes the motivation of running a new account with 10/1000 limit away

But in 6-8 months u could have 50 accounts like the one u lost

You have a very nice PP with good reputation right now.

1. Going stealth means minimizing (if not, AVOIDING) any possible links between accounts so...best way is NOT to involve this account as a transfer mule.

2. Make new accounts via stealth method and withdraw to bank...

I know the 1.5% is enticing as saving but the risk is that a link is made and the whole operation will suffer.

When you start transferring funds between PP accounts it creates links between the two accounts. As previous posters have recommended, you want to avoid this when operating a successful stealth account.

You will toast both accounts if you do this.

It might work a few times but it will be caught, I assure you it will.

Then you have a permanent link of the two and that is not a good thing if one of them goes down.

Do whatever you can do avoid doing this.
