How many bank accounts have you opened?
 

Just curious how many you open with your Stealth accounts on a monthly basis? Are they all with the same bank?

This has been asked many times in the forum.

Each individual has to do it differently then the other person because of many types of reasons.

Opening a large amount of bank accounts in a short period of time is risky.

Many of us have lots of bank accounts but they have been opened over many years.

You open as many as you need.

Your business plan will differ from mine

Never put all your eggs in the one basket

In the US there's a different bank on every street and also many prepaid debit cards that anyone can get with no credit checks.


Prepaid are not the best option and you need to know which work

But once your experienced in stealth you will understand which to use and how to use them

Start off slow if possible real banks are always best

Once you get experience and understand how ebay/Paypal operate you will figure out other alternatives

Well, that's really my issue. I have opened a ton of accounts with ING, now Capital One 360 over the last year. I just started an account with US Bank and will have full online access as soon as my debit card comes.

You have to make sure that you don't opening bank accounts too fast. You open as many as you need, but you also need to pace yourself. Its a careful but important balance.

Don't think in terms of I want to open 100 accounts and need 100 bank accounts

Yes you may need that many accounts but it won't happen overnight , they will take time to build and as you need accounts you open them

If your in the US plenty of different banks and prepaid debit cards

Just build everything slowly and don't get overwhelmed with how many u need because you won't or definitely shouldn't build 100 accounts in a month

Basically you dont want to get flagged as opening multiple bank accounts in a short space of time is suspicious and most officials will suspect more scrupulous activity such as money laundering.

Opening accounts over time is fine as people in general swap banks etc just dont do it to quickly or you might get a call or even a visit from CID.

What is considered a short amount of time? Months? A year?

I have had nice success with 1 account per bank each month, rotated between different banks - it's really dependent on the bank. Mixing chequings and savings does help AND leaving money in the accounts offers some security to the bank (just examples from what I have seen). One bank had 12 accounts created over a 18 month period - closed out some, reopened others, left money in...again, an example

It is simple. I open what I need and I keep a new clean acct. as backup. TD bank & BBT can be done online once you are established customer. Good luck.
