Buyer completed checkout, but not eligible for Seller protection?
 

Buyer completed the checkout as normal, and the address is UK and Confirmed/Verified, however the box is yellow and it says Not Eligible for Seller protection. Never seen this before in this scenario, buyer has about 20 feedback however i do not want to risk the trouble. Any advice on what to do?

Is it a high risk item? Potential for complaints? Have you have bad history with selling it?

Did he actually pay using pp or did he use another payment provider like skrill to pay? Any other means of paying wont be eligible for PP's seller protection program.

There is a post about this on the Uk Powerseller Board.

It is a glitch confirmed by Paypal.

Had this happen to another sale of mine. This means I have two sales currently on hold. Not sure if should ship or not.

Just had a read at that link for the ebay thread regarding the issue and some bloke starting saying how there will be a policy which states that seller protection will be revoked for sellers which receive more than 1% returns a month, I hope that's untrue as that would be outrageous.

All of my sales from the past 2-3 days are marked not eligible for protection. I was wondering if there was a change in policy or something - the fact it's only a glitch is good to know.
