submitting id early to avoid 19oo restrictions

im in the uk and wondered if anyone has had any experience with this.

so a bit of background first. I had a successful eb/pp for many years until I got suspended for low postage time dsrs. even though the adverts clearly stated postage within 10 days. anyway, I have learned my lesson big time with this and im now next day 1st class posting!

so I have read the guide and I think its helping to get me back up and going again. I currently have a handful of accounts, that I am building up feedback on. they have been going for the last 2-8 weeks. all pp are bank and cc verified. so one of my pp accounts became restricted a few weeks ago. I am applying stealth principles as outlined in the guide

I had a grand total of 2 feedback on one account, but the account had been in use for about 6 weeks. bidding, browsing, the 2 sales. I took £150 aprox, on the second sales, the account had been in existence about 6 weeks at this stage. it was two items and they went for more than I thought they would, but this has taught me to tread very carefully and go slower. immediately my pp was limited.

the only way to un restrict the account is to submit p/port, d/licence and cc invoice. its stealth so these are not so easy to produce and high risk.

so basically what Im asking is...do people submit docs earlier on in their accounts life? maybe get away with a photo id, utility bill, (which would be more obtainable). or is this likely to cause more problems for me? I was hoping that this would lift the 1900 restrictions and hopefully make the account appear less risky??

if anyone could have any input on this it would be very much appreciated.

I believe an account with all limits lifted is definitely stronger than one that isn't. Don't get me wrong though, it doesn't make you bulletproof. Paypal can and do limit accounts.

The item being sold and the price is usually the cause of limitations. A request for supplier info / receipts along with ID and utility bill is the result.

Re: submitting id early to avoid 19oo restrictions

thanks for the reply. I called them when it happened, said im a private ebayer which is true, no invoices required therefore, just pport/ d licence copy as stated.

the problem is that my items often go for between 50-100 a time, sometimes up to 3-400. I don't sell a lot but obviously it will raise flags. on my old legit account I used to shift a load of stuff via 2nd chance offer, this is a no no at the moment though. I just want to get the account into better standing if possible, and try to pre-emt any issues later

can someone pm me who knows about photo id and utility bills

thanks

Agree with this....

Although my paypal account is Australian.

Check out my photo. I had the pleasure of my paypal being limited and lifted and limited and lifted and limited. That's 3 limitations in a row All within a 72 hour period. LOL Point is paypal is erratic sometimes and hard to predict.
