how many bank accounts per month?
 

hi, does anyone know how frequently I can open bank accounts in the uk without an adverse effect on my credit rating?

I seem to be getting the hang of :spy: accounts, and have a few slowly up and running, operating so far without issues. the only restriction that I have at present from making xxx amount of accounts is the limit of bank accounts available.

anyone got any ideas?

ideally I like to open two at a time this is more time effective for me

any ideas would be great, cheers

Impossible to say.

I would not open more than 1 every 2 months personally.

some people run a lot of these accounts, so I gather!

what I really would like to do is run low sales volumes, over many many accounts, maybe 10-20 eventually to remain discrete. looks like it will take some time to build this up!

I am also considering submitting docs for a few of my accounts and ramping up the sales a little but am concerned that this could cause me to lose accounts, which I cant afford at the moment.

I dont know how things work in the UK but I am thinking not a good idea to be opening a bunch of accounts in a short period of time.

not sure i opened 1 last month and will wait till dec or jan to open another not sure how it works..but i can say i have 5 eaby seller accounts with money in and towing to get it out on a regular basis..

when i started stealth years ago, i opened loads of bank accounts within a week without issues... one with each of the following: halifax, santander, coop, rbs, hsbc.. that was when i was young and stupid... I wouldn't do that now and would not advise it.

With each bank, once every few months i would say until you have say 3/4 with each bank.

thanks for the advice chaps. might open another 2 in a month or so. then maybe another 2 mid jan, then let this cool for a bit. if I can get these pp/eb accounts up, running, and established it will give me a bit of breathing space cheers

I have opened 8 in the space of a year, but I am warey of it!

Infact I need to write to the bank to actually close some of these accounts as they are dead to me now!
