Use Paypal in another country
 

Is it advisable if I use my pp(Malaysia) when I arrive in Vietnam?

FYI, I'm from Malaysia and will travel to Vietnam next month. While in there, I will have to use pp for selling transaction sending money to my supplier.

I need to make sure that it is applicable before logging in. Because the first day using pp, I know pp are very troublesome if the account looks suspicious.

Any advises given would be greatly appreciated!

PP doesnt like changes in country IP in general...could lead to account limitation due to fear of fraudulent use....

So is it better I open another pp account in Vietnam to avoid any risk?

Lets say I apply pp account in Vietnam, can I link it(email, bank account etc) with the pp in Malaysia? It sound risky though...

you have to use same bank as country your in. and using pp in another country 99% will get account limited, i know cause i did before

Actually I was thinking of opening a new pp in vietnam. But today I called pp for some other matters and in the meantime, I ask her about opening another account while in another country.

She told me not to do that. Instead, she ask me to inform pp before travelling there and use back the current pp while in vietnam. Then, it would be safe to use my pp there.

I know we should not ever log in while in another country and it seem stupid to ask here again...But what she said is it applicable?
