Pp verifying cell phone number message? Do i have to get a code?
 

Hey guys well I guess most of you have encountered this new message. When you try to log into your paypal account, a message shows up asking you to confirm your cell phone... Is it really necessary for me to have pp send me a code to confirm my cell phone number? The pp account I run is full stealth. I no longer have access to the phone number that I used for this stealth account since I cancelled the number, figured I won't need it anymore after I verified my ebay account. What do I do now? Is it absolutely necessary to confirm my number? I always delay it by clicking ''remind me later'' and this action takes me to my account balance. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Right now, its optional.
I wouldnt mess with it.

Keep the one line as a HOME phone line.

I got that too.

Yes, it freaked me out as I thought I lost an account. It gave me an option to cancel/ignore which I did and it kept taking me back to wanted to send a code to me.

I think I close the window and logged in again. Havent had it again. Knock on wood.

Oh, I only have a home number listed and it was trying to get me to add a cell phone. It wouldnt let me cancel it though.

Do you mean, you can update the home phone line to a mobile line? I have the same problem these days, try to withdraw money from paypal but it ask me to let them call the registered home phone line for the pin. Obviously I can not access that line as it's a stealth account… Don't know what to do!! If you can change the home line to mobile line, it will sort out the problem… I don't know if it's possible before I would go for that risk… any suggestions?
