'*' Using New Computer To Access Paypal Accounts
 

Hi guys,

Just wanted to make sure I got the checklist covered in stealth guide.

The old computer which I used to log in to multiple accounts with now is dysfunctional, so I'm purchasing a new computer.

Aside from renewing IP before each login, I should configure the following on my new computer:

1. Set Firefox to not accept and clear all cookies.
2. Do not accept Flash Cookies.

>> renew IP before every log in.

Please let me know if I'm missing out on anything as I've been out the loop for a while.

In my personal opinion I would leave all the cookies and stuff in Firefox and just use different accounts and ip to log in.
Cookies will be my mates and Ebay would recognize my browser as the usual and friendly one.

Thank you for your input.

However I"m not using it for ebay, but my own hosted online shops.

Anyone can shed further insight on this?

Another tip would be to disable web beacon on your mail client (GMail).

Ebay/Paypal will sometimes send you emails that contain GIF images (web beacons) of their logos. Within those logos is a hyperlink directing you back to their site.

You want to disable that GIF image so it is just a text.

I don't think you will be able to log in if you do not accept cookies. I couldn't.
