Payment via Paypal using credit card

Has anyone ever gotten an invoice from a seller, where it would ask you to choose to log into paypal to pay or pay with a debit/credit card (with an option of making a paypal account"?

Im thinking of using the second account in order not to log into my real account.
Will they link it anyway? IP? or if i use the same credit card? are they saving the information or simply just charging my credit card to make the payment
