Not seen this from paypal before
 

I just confirmed a bunch of papyals with a VBA and I have never seem this before or never noticed it. The message below is what I got.

Are they making another 10 cent deposit or not? This is my first time confirming a paypal with a VBA so I am not sure about this part.


"You have successfully linked your bank account to your PayPal account. Your bank account is now the default way you'll make most payments with PayPal. You can choose a different way to pay at checkout.

For additional security, we'll make a $0.10 deposit into your bank account and retrieve it. We don't need you to take any action."

This this part of paypal new?
 

Yea, I've seen this With the last 2 months at least. On my regular checking accts they always take the 2 deposits back. So I'm like thinking what's the point in doing the same thing again? I have never seen them actually depositing the extra 10 cent deposits though.

sorry bosslady but i did search for the deposits being taken back, plus i already knew about it for over 6 months, but i didnt find anything on that 10 cent thing. i dont remember seeing that message.

I have had this when i linked my walmart mastercard that accepts direct deposits.
It failed when taking the additional .10 but I was still able to withdraw $100 with no issues.

This was months ago when I was still a noob and hadn't dug deep enough to find good banks ;)
