When to withdraw?

Hi everyone,

I bought an account off a reputable seller here. The account was created in September 2013, the limits are 100 items a month

I started selling on it a few days ago. Sold 4 items so far Buy It Now for £3.99 (keeping it low for now until i build feedback).

The Paypal is Verified, Confirmed & all limits have been lifted

I have the 21 day holds (Which i know is the norm when new to selling on an account until you build feedback, history etc)

When would it be safe to start withdrawing? Would it be safe to do it straight away when the funds are available after paying fees etc or would you leave it a while?

Thanks in advance :)

Re: When to withdraw?

There is no waiting time to withdraw. The idea is you sell on eb and then you withdraw your money from pp. I don't withdraw in more than $200 increments and have done that 2x in one day.

No set limit to when its fine to withdraw, just make sure you leave enough for fees and refund in there.

Re: When to withdraw?

It's not necessarily when you withdraw, but what % of your sales you leave behind.

If you withdraw 100% of your available funds you're going to have problems.

Most users here recommend withdrawing between 20-35% of your available funds for your first withdrawal.

Remember, you always need to act like a new user.

As a "new user" you're supposed to be immersed and amazed at all the new things eB has shown you about the internet. You're supposed to be confident in them as a company and leave funds there because there is so much to shop for on eB that "you might as well, right?"

also - it doesn't hurt that leaving money in your PP gives them an interest-free loan to re-invest your money and keep the interest for themselves.
