Help needed! Linking PP to Ally Bank Account...
 

Hey guys,

I haven't been around here in a while, mostly because things had been going fairly well for me on eBay with regards to selling with my stealth account. I had received a lot of advice and support from here which had aided me in my success, however, I've run into a problem.

I currently have two active online bank accounts open with Ally. To my knowledge, I have only had one of them associated and linked with Paypal. The other one has been waiting on "stand-by" with 2 cents in it just-in-case the inevitable happened with my PP account (the one linked to one of the Ally accounts I mentioned). Well, the inevitable happened ( a limitation).

I went ahead and created a new stealth account and opened up another PP account, but when I tried to link my other Ally bank account (the one on "stand-by"), it gave me this error message: The account you've entered needs an additional review before we can proceed. Please add a different bank account. If you'd still like to use this bank account, please contact customer service. :confused:

Usually in the past, I would link the Ally accounts to my PP accounts with ease; PP would make the two small deposits and then I'd simply verify them on PP as per usual, and then I'd finally link the verified PP accounts to eBay and voila, I'd become a seller.

Is this a problem with the account itself (I may have used it with Paypal in the past but have forgotten) or has PP somehow blacklisted Ally bank from doing the simple 2-3 day verification process? If so, are there any other online banks that aren't blacklisted? What can I do, please help. :(

If you used it in the past it would definitely be a problem. I can't speak beyond that or about Ally though as I don't use them.

I've had that message before when I tried to reuse an old bank account I used with paypal before in my early dayz :nono:.. the key to this is to make sure you remove the bank account before you get limited from paypal and you can reuse that bank account that's what I've noticed.

I can't use Ally anymore as they will not let me open up anymore account! Are there any other online bank accounts that are free and simple to use like Ally?
