20 Min Delay in PP eMail Confirmation?

Noticed this for the first time today. PP is putting a 20 minute delay on all their "Confirm your email" emails. For example, if I request the email confirmation link at 2:20pm, it's not coming until 2:40.

Anyone else experiencing this? Or is it just a blip on my end?

There have been issues with PayPal today in the UK.

In the UK it was down for a few minutes at a time several times throughout the day. You may be having issues across the pond as well.

Gmail was down and still experiencing intermittent problems. 99% of users on PayPal use gmail.

I have been having a few issues with gmail as well in the last couple of hours.

Should all just pass
