Does Smione still work with mismatched names?

I saw a post from 2010 stating it does, but not sure if that's still true. Anyone know? It's with The Bankcorp Bank. I noticed that some of their cards do and some don't.

never heard of Smione...You might as well be the 1st to test it if no one answers. Also remember that just because they use BankCorp doesn't guarantee anything. I once tried a few that used bankcorp and froze the deposits (only $10) and wouldn't give me access to those funds.

No it's a prepaid card through Bankcorp.

As of early 2013, yes.
Now. I am not sure.
I have a mismatched name account with them.
No issues just yet, but with BC, you never know.

Bankcorp is not totally reliable.

Too often a (new) paypal gets limited. Bankcorp is involved.

Other options exist.

That likely explains the lack of posts regarding its success.
