Paypal hold on new ebay accounts?

what length of time does paypal hold funds for ebay orders for new accounts? Is it 90 days or 60? Anyone not have the holds applied to there account? The hold im talking about is when the product is delivered they release it 3 days afterward..

Normal if you do everything right is 90 days and 25 feedback or so.

Some go longer some have been shorter.

I get some once in a while with no holds but it is rare.

Never the same for any account.

First thing you will learn is no account will ever be treated the same as the next one.

ebay says, 90 days, 25 transactions, $250 sold..........but it varies some.

Holds can also be RE-PLACED at any time so even if holds get removed, you are not 100% clear.

The reason I was asking was I noticed that I didn't have a hold on one transaction. I had full access to the money and the item hadn't even been delivered yet. go figure

Once in a while you will see a transaction go thru with out the holds

It usually means that they are loosening their hold on your account. Testing you to ensure you ship. This way you do not get too happy about all the available funds.

I just had an account with 25 auctions selling for 60 days get instant payments of around 13 of those auctions.

Its a step in the right direction :thumb:
