Paypal transfer to bank still pending after 3 business days
 

I initiated a paypal transfer to my bank on a new paypal account (2 months old, recently started selling on it as of 2 weeks ago). Right after I initiated the funds transfer someone at Paypal called me to tell me as a new seller about seller protection so I guess they are monitoring such things. But I took the call and usually it stays in pending status for:nono: 24-48 hours but this time it's take over 3 days! I initiated it on Jan 29th and now it is Feb 1st. According to the email I should receive it by Feb 4th but I've never had a transfer stay in pending status for so long. What's the deal?

Paypal to bank seems to take longer in the USA than it does here in the UK where Paypal had to take out a banking lisence to legally operate.

Before we got "instant" Paypal to bank transfer in the UK about a year ago my transfers could take anything from 3-5 days depending on the time. If over a weekend they could take 5 days because saturday and sunday are not "banking" days.

I would not worry unless it goes past the 4th Fen and your money is not there at which point I would call them.

It should happen very quickly these days.

Do you get the ' we transferred money to your bank message" ?
