Question about Canadian Bank for US citizen

Can a US Citizen get an account with RBC? sorry if that was a stupid question.

But I have a Canadian account in my name with 1 letter missing from my name.

I need a bank account to link it would a US one work.. I read it could.

But i tried with an account now routing and account number and it did not work...

if you mean amazon.ca with a us bank account then that combination works
also if youre looking for a Canadian one i guess td will also work fine.

if you open one in US in tdbank and 1 in canada you can make transfers between them for free instead of usual wiring charges

Have you read about not using accountnow? There are hassles with that.

Let me suggest you do not try making any further accounts until you get the methods sorted out that work.

Doing that saves messing up bank accounts & making you feel sad because of troubles.
