paypal bank verification question
 

Hello!
I tried to verify my bank account through PayPal, but it tries to make two small deposits under 1.00$, and I am supposed to write down the amounts later on, is this the common way of verifying banks accounts by PayPal?, if this is the case how do I verify a vba? Which I tried before and because they tried to make the deposits again, I decided to use a wells fargo account I made with my real info

I do not know if this will answer your question, but hopefully, it will help out. When you are on PP website and you choose to verify your bank account, PP will make 2 small deposits into your bank account. You need to make note of those 2 small deposits that was placed into your bank account. This normally takes 2 business days (my experience). Log back into your PP account and to the right side you'll see an option that says Confirm Bank Account. Click that link, and it will ask you for the amounts of the 2 small deposits they made. That's it

If we verify pp accout by the deposit amount done by pp will pp have record of your ss number and send you 1099 at the end of the year? Your ans. will be highly appreciated. Thanks

When you verify your paypal with the deposits...PayPal doesn't automatically get your social. The only way paypal can get your social is if you voluntarily give it to them.

As for the 1099, I have no idea...someone else might chime in on that question.
